Lando Norris has two sides. Driving down a circuit at astronomically high speeds of over 200 mph or strolling in his car at speeds of possibly less than 30 mph in his iconic Fiat Jolly. This arrangement, however, is going to change as the McLaren driver gets possession of his iconic McLaren 765LT Spider straight from the factory, thanks to his long-time association with the brand’s F1 team.

The 765LT is a rare model of the brand launched in 2021. It is about 108 pounds heavier than the 765LT Coupe and 176 pounds lighter than the 720S Spider. There are only 765 pieces built of the car. It boasts a 4.0-liter V8 that makes 755 horsepower under its hood. And Lando has endured that the customizations are in place in the car that comes with a custom nameplate to make the $382,500 starting price of the 765LT his regular drive over the Fiat Jolly, which comes with an average price of $77,000.

Norris shared the details of his car on a YouTube video featured on McLaren Automotive’s channel. In that, the driver reveals all the customizations and magic that happened in a carbon fiber-loaded 765LT Spider. Norris first revealed the carbon fiber key that is branded with a four-stripe graphic in Lando Yellow, instead of his logo, LN4, which is embossed on the seat’s headrest.

The door appliques have painted white pinstripes, the steering wheel has a Lando Yellow graphic and the MSO floor mats have LN4 branding. There is also a plaque with Lando Norris’ name on it. Plenty of these fall in line with the driver’s choices made in a virtual customization video. Now, the shift from a 15-hp Fiat Jolly to a 755-hp 765LT Spider would be lovely to see.

Lando Norris’ exquisite car collection

What gives away the fact that Lando Norris is a McLaren fan? His love for the team as seen over five years? No. But his personal car collection is the biggest tell. As per 21motoring, Norris’ personal garage has three of the brand’s supercars, including the McLaren 570, 720, and McLaren GT. This makes the 765LT Spider the fourth McLaren in his collection.

These cars, just like the newest addition, don’t come cheap. The 570GT is reported to cost around $204,500, whereas the 720S costs a whopping $301,000 and the GT costs about $215,000. Clearly, Lando likes McLaren and speed.

The Fiat Jolly seems to be on the side now. The driver could well be high on speed each time he steps into his car. For the actual joy, however, Jolly would still be the one to go for anyone.
