Ever since stepping foot into F1, Lewis Hamilton amazed one and all with his talent. The Briton wasn’t just a hit on the track, but off it as well. He was seen hanging out with the most famous of celebrities and partying with the most glamorous supermodels. On one such occasion, when the reality of his company kicked in, the champion driver could not help but laugh.

We recently saw Lewis take a vacation in one of the most difficult places to live on Earth- Antarctica. He had his good friend and Olympian Shaun White accompanying him with his actor wife, Nina Dobrev. To take him to the destination was one of the sweetest rides out there- a $243 million mega yacht called Octopus. We thought the F1 sensation’s love for yachts was newfound, but some digging in the past proved otherwise.

Hamilton, in 2016, had a great time hanging out with the likes of Karlie Kloss, Irina Shayk, Doutzen Kroes, and Barbara Palvin for a promotional event for L’Oreal. Expressing his disbelief in an interview with GQ, he said, “I laugh a little bit because most men would kill to be hanging out with all the girls from L’Oreal, and it doesn’t even feel like work for me; it’s just like a cool adventure.”

Ever since winning his first world championship in 2008, Hamilton gained quite the notoriety for being a party boy. Every other day, his face would show up on tabloids and on TV news. Years later, his own personal trainer and trusted confidante Angela Cullen had to step in to do some PR work and clear the air.

When Angela Cullen came to Lewis Hamilton’s rescue

Cullen is the person for all seasons to Lewis. Good or bad, she has always been at his side ever since she joined him as a physio. However, what she does for him can put even the designation of a personal assistant to shame.

In a 2017 interview with The Sun, Angela revealed, “I have spent the whole year with him and we partied maybe four times.”

“He is not a party boy. If he has a three-week recovery between races, he might have a drink to celebrate a race win, but if there is a race meeting the next week, he won’t drink at all.”

“He occasionally does crazy things, but no more than any normal person,” she added. “He is the most amazingly talented and dedicated athlete.”
