The Schumacher name returns to the grid next season, in the form of Mick Schumacher, son of Formula One legend, Michael Schumacher. Before his Formula One debut, It’s important to see what kind of person he is outside the track.

The German driver brings a heavy name to the sport as he makes his first step in his Formula One career with Haas. The fans are eagerly waiting to see what he brings to his track apart from his surname.

Mick Schumacher, won the F2 World Champion last season where he had 2 wins,  11 podiums, 2 pole positions, and 4 fastest laps, showing just what he is capable of, Of course, He is destined to drive for Ferrari, where currently is part of their driver academy.

However, being the World Champion in Formula 2 isn’t his most prized possession in an interview, He stated, ” A little cup that I was given by my dad, which he won in a rental-kart race. I’ve kept it since I was six and it’s always been in the perfect spot in my room.

“It’s the most important trophy that I’ve got, and I didn’t even win it!

The German has one of the greatest idols one can think of,  He replied,  “My dad! I definitely look at what he achieved and I try to learn from it. He’s been the benchmark for so long and for me he’s still the benchmark, so I’ll always refer to him.”

That’s on the sporting side, and on the human side, I’ll always admire how his consistency across all those years and how he kept his feet on the ground. That’s something I appreciate very much, but also something I can learn from and carry through my career.”

Every Formula One fan would be largely waiting to see Schumacher back on the grid, as the 2021 season isn’t that far away. It would be a breath of fresh to see the young German give a battle to the other drivers on track.
