The 2022 season will go down as one of the most dominant seasons of Red Bull ever. The team has got the WCC and their star driver is crowned as the champion of 2022 before the end of the season. With this, Verstappen has also broken the record for most wins in a season by winning 14 races. Not only this, but he has also surpassed the record of Sir Lewis Hamilton’s 413 points with two races still to go.

Now amid this chaotic year for team Red Bull, Verstappen picks out which championship title is more satisfying for him. Dutchman’s second title came much easier than the first one. Last year he clinched the title in the last laps battling the Mercedes Star, Lewis Hamilton, and stopping him from achieving a record eighth world title. Whereas this year, after a slow start, he showed dominance and wrapped up winning the title with 4 races remaining.

Although every title is special to a driver, Max Verstappen says the first one was an emotional one to him. Talking to Lawrence Barretto, he said, “The first one was very emotional because you realize you have achieved everything in the sport you wanted to achieve.”

He further added picking out the second title,” The second one, because of the season we have had, is probably more rewarding. It’s very different feelings, which I think is great because it would be a little bit boring if they are the same.”
