Is this a sign that Alfa Romeo is on schedule?
Recently, Alfa Romeo uploaded a video of the team at the Hinwil factory firing up the engine. The video also highlighted how hard everyone worked on the car and how much love and care went into the project.
Apparently, around 450 people were involved in the 2020 F1 project. The Alfa Romeo C39 was the end product of nearly 15,000 parts, 8,000 drafts and 100,000 hours of hard work.
The Swiss-Italian team are desperately seeking redemption after a lacklustre end to 2019, despite a good start. Luckily, the team has a financial boost in the form of title sponsor, PKN Orlen. In addition to that, the outfit retained Giovinazzi and Kimi Raikkonen, as well as reserve driver Robert Kubica.

Since the team is unveiling its car on the 19th, it will be one of the last teams to do so. It also coincides with the opening day of pre-season testing. So the car will be put through its paces, as soon as it is launched for the world to see. The 2020 car will also be launched at the same time as the Haas VF-20, even though the American team already released a digital rendering.
With the Haas car breaking cover, it leaves nine more teams waiting to release their beasts in the arena.
