Ferrari is looking forward to bringing some tight updates in the wake of continuous Red Bull victories. Their major package drop that is in talks will finally debut at the Spanish Grand Prix.

Initially, the Maranello team was ahead of everyone. However, with progressive race developments, Red Bull managed a pace advantage over Tifosi.

The recent races from Miami and Imola have presented a big scare to the Italian team. Their title contender, Charles Leclerc, looked comfortable in the previous races; before finally being challenged. It’s now or never for Ferrari, who will have to stay ahead of the Austrian team if they wish to win the constructors’ and drivers’ trophies.

Recently, Ferrari held a film day at Monza to procure footage of the new F1-75. They have previously only done this pre-season at Barcelona when Russian company Kaspersky was a sponsor. The company’s logos later were taken off the chassis, keeping the Russia-Ukraine conflict in mind. Understandably, the team has rented Monza for an entire day to get fresh footage.

However, access to the circuit could only stretch to the team as they kept everything secretive. We understand the Prancing Horses used this opportunity to test new updates on the car. Though from the one picture that has arrived, it is hard to point out anything but the DRS, which looks silver.

The updates are expected to revolve around the drag and weight of the car, which was hard to spot. Further, fans can also expect updates with floor and sidepods.

Ferrari tumbles but still leads across boards

Perspectively, Miami was a relief for the Maranello team, who saw both their drivers finish 2-3. Further, Ferrari frontman Charles Leclerc sits on top of the table with two Grand Prix wins this season. The team will be particularly joyous over Leclerc’s season as he looked promisingly consistent throughout the races.

Though the team was not without challenges as driver Carlos Sainz faced a DNF twice. Further, the home race Imola was unsatisfactory where Leclerc spun the car and dropped points. However, the team was quick to bounce back and managed a smooth run in Miami.
