Firstly, it was Fernando Alonso and Taylor Swift, and now Lewis Hamilton and Shakira. Looks like the OG F1 drivers just can’t stop being related to pop stars from around the world. Months after her split with former FC Barcelona star Gerard Pique, Shakira was recently spotted with Lewis Hamilton in Miami after the Grand Prix at a famous restaurant. The 38-year-old reacted to the Colombian singer, who was wearing an alluring black dress. But what exactly went down between the two?

Shakira announced splitting with her then-partner Gerard Pique in the month of June last year after 12 years of being together. Later that year, after Shakira and Pique decided upon a custody agreement, she decided to move out of Barcelona with her kids and move to Miami on a permanent basis. After releasing a single about Pique’s betrayal, Shakira finally looks forward and seems like she’s moving on.

With the Miami GP being held in the state of Florida, many celebrities visited the F1 circuit. These included Tom Cruise, Shakira, and Roger Federer. Shakira was spotted with Tom Cruise on the track and in the paddock, where the two were involved in a long conversation. However, just a couple of days after, the single mother was now seen with the 7x F1 world champion. Lewis Hamilton is F1 royalty and has been seen together with many celebrities in the past.

Hamilton was spotted with Shakira at the restaurant Cipriani in Miami after the Miami GP ended. Shakira was wearing a black dress and Lewis Hamilton is seen smiling at her. Rumors have already started moving around the world as multiple posts of them being spotted together were posted on Twitter. While nothing is official, one can only speculate on one thing when two celebrities are spotted together at a fancy restaurant.

Nevertheless, Hamilton did deserve a nice dinner after a hard day of work on Sunday. The company of Shakira would be most welcome as the two would have probably talked about a music collaboration and not Formula 1. The British driver is not performing well but did improve on his Saturday position in the Miami race. Let’s see what he has to say about the race.

Hamilton started P13 after a terrible Saturday. However, he managed to get his head down and make his way through the field to finish P6. The Briton suggested that last time around in Baku he was losing places, whereas this time around the Briton was making places up. He overtook Charles Leclerc, but Carlos Sainz finished ahead of him. All in all, a great day for the team.  

According to Skysports.com, Lewis Hamilton said, “It is mega. In the Sprint race at the last race, I was going backward and it is demoralizing when you are going backward, it is really tough. It was great to have pace and see the cars ahead and see the progress. I had a couple of great overtakes as well and that is what I live for.”
