Formula 1 has always attracted the crème de la crème of our world. However, most recently, the expansion the sport has targeted in the United States of America has meant that the bulk of the glitz and glamour is seen in the US leg of the Grands Prix. Miami is prime among them. But even with all the new races bringing excitement and celebrities, Monaco is still the crown jewel of F1. And the number of A-listers on show during this weekend’s race was a testament to this fact.

Many famous stars also took this opportunity to bask in the other activities and parties happening in the principality. One such A-list couple were the Biebers! Avid fans spotted the duo of Hailey and Justin Bieber soaking in the atmosphere at Monaco. But were they here just for the racing action?

Monaco has attracted the cream of our modern society. And the racing spectacle just adds to the allure of it all. On the 28th of May, American rapper Travis Scott was in the principality for a showcase at the Lily’s Club in light of his upcoming album ‘Utopia‘.

Fans were then quick to spot the Biebers in attendance. However, just hours before that, the couple were soaking in the sun whilst watching the Monaco Grand Prix. Eagle-eyed fans spotted the duo on their boat in the port section of the track.

While it was a welcome surprise to see the couple enjoying the race, this isn’t the first time a Bieber has stolen the spotlight in Monaco.

Back in 2016, Lewis Hamilton had just won the Monaco Grand Prix. An iconic day for the eventual 7x champion. And Justin Bieber was there, in attendance. However, he got a chance of a lifetime when he joined in the victory celebrations.

According to Billboard, “The 22-year-old pop star was one of the first people the three-time Formula 1 champion greeted after his victory. Bieber was also spotted taking a swig from Hamilton’s oversized celebratory champagne bottle before it was sprayed all over his racing team.”
