It looks like the Red Bull scandal is not over yet. Christian Horner’s investigation that deemed him innocent has taken another wild turn. After what felt like the end of the Horner saga, more information is surfacing, leading to a problem for not only Red Bull but the FIA too.

It was recently reported that the female employee who made the complaint regarding Horner’s inappropriate behavior had reached out to the FIA about the incident before the investigation from Red Bull Gmbh. It turns out that not only did the FIA receive a complaint from the lady, but two of them, over a month apart. The first complaint made by her was on February 2, when she called the FIA ethics and compliance hotline.

Upon realizing that there had been no action from FIA President Mohammed Bin Suleyam, there was a second complaint reportedly on March 6. This time, the woman referenced the first complaint and warned that the next move would be to go to the media. So according to the accusing party, there have been complaints lodged against Christian Horner before the situation went public, and since the Red Bull team principal has been announced innocent, things might be taken to court next.

That being said, it’s surprising that the FIA did not take action upon hearing the complaint. There was also a piece of news floating around about Mohammed Ben Sulayem taking Horner’s side in the situation and even prompting Max Verstappen to support the team principal, but the world champion remained neutral on the situation and has focused on his races, as he says the rest of the team has been doing too.

The time Mohammed Ben Sulayam spoke to Max Verstappen

Things with Christian Horner are not that simple. While the investigation was on, Verstappen decided to keep himself out of the controversy. Focusing only on the team’s performance, as he has shown his dedication to the track by achieving a victory at both the 2024 rounds. But this was something that the FIA was not too happy about. There have been reports of Mohammed Ben Sulayam contacting Max Verstappen to support Christian Horner in the case.

That’s when the star driver decided to stand his ground and keep away from the internal affairs of Red Bull. But ultimately, it could be that the Red Bull Racing team is split into two halves. Ones that support Horner, and the others that want him out of the team. That being said, what do you think of the Christian Horner situation going on at Red Bull right now?
