The car launch season in F1 has started in full swing and already teams are trying to overtake each other. While every team has given a car launch date, things are starting to tip over between rivals. Yesterday, we saw Red Bull launch their 2023 season livery with a grand announcement of Ford returning to F1 in 2026. It was a momentous occasion, as everyone was in a frenzy over the news of a Ford return. Although, their rival team, Ferrari made a devious move to steal the show. The Scuderia tried and perhaps managed to sway a lot of the attention from RBR’s grand event with a small clip.
Scuderia Ferrari posted a video on their social media, showing the sound of their engine fire up. The video footage is just over 30 seconds long but intrigues and hooks you up for the Ferrari car launch. While the Italian team is unveiling their car on February 14th, fans are happy to see these “mind games” from the team.
Red Bull’s car launch started at 9 AM EST and about 30 minutes into this event, Ferrari posted their video. Many fans were complaining about the RBR event being boring and a snooze fest. Several people were enraged at the Milton Keynes team for keeping the same livery, calling the event disgraceful.

Regardless, fans found excitement in the 30 seconds of Ferrari’s video over the 30 minutes of interviews at Red Bull’s launch. Many have reacted, citing how beautifully the Maranello team timed their post yesterday.
Fans React to Ferrari Stealing the Thunder from Red Bull’s Car Launch
With only days left before the season begins, this may be the start of “mind games” from the Scuderia. After all, the Italian outfit loves to mess around like this. Amid a corporate-like unveiling in New York City by Red Bull, Ferrari perhaps stole the thunder sitting in Modena, Italy. Fans are loving to see this bold attitude from Ferrari.

These 30 seconds were more fun than the last ca. 30 minutes of rb launch

At the Red Bull event, it became a corporate vibe, probably due to the Ford announcement. While Ferrari’s car launch may not be quite exciting with a nice elegant event streaming from Italy, fans prefer that for some reason. With the kind of slack RBR is getting for the same livery from last year and the years before that, this Ferrari engine fire-up post makes it worse for them.
by far more interesting than the rb launch

Although, one aspect that the Red Bull-Ford event made fans excited about was the prospect of a Ford vs Ferrari rivalry again. Many have reacted to Red Bull reigniting this historic rivalry between Ford and Ferrari in the hope of seeing the iconic battle in F1.
While this prospect may have to wait until 2026, the Scuderia looks keen to take on Ford again. In the way they tried to steal Ford and Red Bull’s thunder, the Italian team has got some devious competitive intentions, perhaps.
This is FAR more interesting than anything else going in F1 today

Looking at these latest trends, many fans may look to say “Forza Ferrari” this year. While these mind games are great, the Italian team will hope to make the extra grunting sound of their engine work on track. After Red Bull’s dominance last season, the Scuderia will want to challenge their supremacy.
