No team on the grid comes close to the brilliant manner in which Red Bull is running their teams. Firstly, the Austrian brand has two teams in the premier class competing for different goals. Moreover, the way the brand has set up these two teams makes them work in flawless synergy. Red Bull, a $640 million championship contender, banks on its sister team to produce and train championship-winning drivers. This formula has worked brilliantly in the past when the team was called Toro Rosso. However, ever since Toro Rosso was rebranded to AlphaTauri, that hasn’t been the case. Although for not those reasons and according to recent reports, Red Bull is considering a U-turn.

The $200 million sister team AlphaTauri came into being in 2020 to promote the fashion label also owned by the Austrian company. The rebranding did not quite work as well as Red Bull would’ve liked. Now there are reports the company might bring the old Toro Rosso name back to the premier class.

Speaking to RacingNews35, Marko said, “That is also something we are reconsidering. Logical too, the ‘branding’ of AlphaTauri has been reduced somewhat. Because AlphaTauri is actually sold in few countries where we race GPs. Only in about three to four countries.” (Translated by Google)
