Often when we hear the name, Schumacher we think of Michael or Mick. However, there could have been another Schumacher in the racing world. Mick revealed that his mom, Corinna was also interested in racing, and was almost as good as his father.
The Haas rookie revealed that his mother was interested in horses, but also had a passion for being behind the wheel. He stated that she was just a bit slower than his dad in karting.

Mick Schumacher reveals his mom was just half a second slower than Michael Schumacher
Michael and Mick are well associated with the world of racing. However, Schumacher Jr reveals that his mother was also heavily invested in racing while having other passions.
Speaking on the podcast, Beyond the Grid, Mick said, ” She also likes racing quite a lot too. She’s been a strong go-karter herself.”

The host Tom Clarkson was in disbelief, and Schumacher replied, “Yes, she was. She was only half a second slower than my dad in Kerpen! She was really quick!”

How’s Mick doing this season?
Schumacher Jr entered the grid this season with a lot of hope, as he won the F2 championship the year before. However, things haven’t quite gone his way so far but he hopes to find his form and pick some much-needed points for Haas.
As of now, the rookie driver has been finishing outside the top-10; his best result so far was at Hungary, where he placed twelfth. Having a difficult start to the second half of the season at Spa where he placed sixteenth in the odd race at the Belgian Grand Prix. He hopes to come back stronger for the race at Zandvoort.

The 22-year-old hopes to extract the most out of the Ferrari-powered car, and bring some crucial points for the Banbury-based team. With the upcoming race in just a few days in the Netherlands, Schumacher Jr aims to have a successful weekend.
