When it rains, it pours. It’s certainly been raining heavily for Mick Schumacher off late. The Haas driver has been in the spotlight after not having a confirmed seat for next season. Moreover, things turned from bad to worse for the German after his teammate bagged the pole position in Brazil while he finished last.

Despite the huge amount of pressure on him, Mick Schumacher shared an iconic moment with former Ferrari driver, Felipe Massa. In a recent interview, Schumacher answered a tricky question proposed by the Brazilian.
There is a lot of gossip on the grid that Schumacher will be replaced by Aston Martin reserve driver, Nico Hulkenberg. Moreover, Schumacher has reportedly been in talks with other teams to become their reserve driver.
However, when the Haas driver sat with Felipe Massa, he had a very witty response to Massa’s question. The 41-year-old asked, “Which driver to have as an idol? Ayrton Senna or Michael Schumacher”.
Mick replied cheekily, “the Brazilian version of my dad”.
Michael Schumacher’s son will be looking to replicate his father’s fighting spirit and climb up the ladder in the main race. He’ll also hope to impress a few team principals in the final 2 races of the season.
Former F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has some tough words for Mick Schumacher
Schumacher has had a roller-coaster season so far. However, he has displayed some serious skills this year. Once race that comes to mind is Spielberg when he kept Hamilton at bay. But former F1 president Bernie Ecclestone believes Mick Schumacher needs to change his focus from F1 to something else.
Talking to RTL, Bernie said, “Maybe he needs to forget F1 and focus on other motorsport series. His name is his biggest burden, but he is trying to live up to it as best he can. And that’s what brings him all the problems.”

He then stated, “That’s why: forget about it and win in another category.”
However, Mick has clarified that he will continue to fight for his place in F1. He also stated that his love for the sport is too much for him to leave F1.
