Mick Schumacher joined the Formula One grid last year after winning the F2 championship. The German driver was picked up by Haas for the 2021 season. Even though Schumacher Jr is regarded as a talented driver, he couldn’t do much with the lackluster car.
However, not all hope is lost for his second season on the Formula One grid, as Mick recently revealed that Haas’ 2022 is looking good and he has high expectations from the team for the upcoming season.

The German driver failed to make the impact that he was hoping for in his rookie year. However, with the 2022 season just a few months away, the 22-year-old has his hopes up as he has seen the progress that the American team has made.
Speaking to Motorsport.com, Mick said, “The car looks to be very positive, from what I see and hear. So I have great expectations. Hopefully they’ll meet my expectations next year on track.”
Additionally, the 22′ car will have some inputs from Schumacher Jr himself. He said, “It’s always something that has interested me for so many years, just how things work in general, and especially how a Formula 1 car works.”
“I’m quite heavily involved in what next year’s (2022) car is doing, and just want to understand it and see all the CAD models and stuff. So there are definitely lots of points that I’m looking forward to analyzing at the beginning of next year.”

The German driver had an underwhelming rookie year in Formula One. With a lackluster car, it is understandable that Mick faced some challenges as he competed during Grand Prix weekends.
