Nürburgring and Nordschleife are one track that is combined to host races. Unfortunately, the German Grand Prix is no longer a part of the F1 calendar. The primary reason F1 lost such an exciting track is that financial ends were not being met. Despite the track being a fan- favourite and legendary, FIA did not deem it fit for another renewal.
During the recent Bahrain Pre Season Test, Mick expressed his wish to see it back on the calendar. He was hopeful and said, “Formula 1 belongs in Germany. So it would be nice if my favorite was the Nürburgring.”
Later, Sebastian Vettel also expressed his wish of going back to home country and stated , “I won’t be there forever, maybe this is the last chance.” He said with a grin.

It is understandable of Mick and Vettel to make these statements, and Alexander Gerhard, the spokesperson, was happy about it. However, he said that races could happen under reasonable economic conditions only.
Nürburgring will always be legendary
Nürburgring has the highest safety standards and even received a “Grade 1 ” Licensing. Though it is owned by the Russian Viktor Charitonin since 2014, no problems have arisen for him yet. Viktor also has no plans to sell the route.
