Former F1 driver Felipe Massa recently shared a story on his Instagram handle with a message for Haas F1 driver Mick Schumacher, son of legendary Michael Schumacher. Massa is a former teammate of the seven times world champion. The Brazilian shared the Ferrari seat with his German counterpart for a brief period, wherein they developed a healthy relationship.

Mick is currently in his rookie season and still searching for his first points at the highest level. He must be eager to perform well for his team in the upcoming seasons. Felipe shared a heartwarming message for Mick, which will definitely comfort him.

The Haas F1 team is struggling this year with no points in their bag after 19 races. The team entered this season with a new lineup of Nikita Mazepin and F2 champion Mick Schumacher but things did not go their way on the track this whole season. Massa on Michael Schumacher’s health

The former teammate and a good friend to Michael, Felipe, gave an insight into his health condition in an interview. Michael suffered a tragic accident in 2013 while skiing in the French Alps along with his family, including his 14-year son Mick.

“I know how he is, I have information. The main thing about all this is that we know his situation is not easy. He is in a difficult phase but we need to respect him and the family,” he said, as reported by Express.

Massa shares great admiration for the F1 legend and wants him to hold the record for maximum world titles. In a recent interview reported by speedweek.com, Massa is backing Max Verstappen to win the title for this season.

“Max Verstappen. He deserves it, and it would be great to have another world champion. Max would give everything for victory. Even if it means that he ends up in gravel,” said Massa.
