The fact that Schumacher not only got into Formula 1 because of his dad but also excelled in the junior levels, made him a potential star. However, a positive environment and culture could’ve helped him reach his full potential at Haas, though that wasn’t the case. Mick Schumacher had proven his mettle at Haas, though occasionally. However, the German did not do a good job of carrying that form with him into his second year of stint. He was thus fired by Guenther Steiner, who argued that the squad needed experience. However, it wasn’t just his carelessness that cost him the position; it was also his teammate Kevin Magnussen’s domination, which Marc Surer claims was a key factor in Mick’s dismissal.
Surer thinks the difference has hurt Mick’s hopes of becoming a potential future for the American team.
