Michael Schumacher is one of the reasons people have loved Formula One, even ex-F1 drivers praise the seven-time world champion. Now in 2021, Lewis Hamilton could be the one to break Schumacher’s record, and former Ferrari driver, Felipe Massa hopes Max Verstappen can stop the Brit.

Verstappen and Hamilton have been pushing each other to the limit throughout the course of the 2021 season. As it stands, it is the Red Bull driver who has the lead in the title race, and Massa hopes that Verstappen can win as he wants nobody to break Schumacher’s record.

As quoted by Speedweek, Massa said, “Max Verstappen. He deserves it, and it would be great to have another world champion. Max would give everything for victory. Even if it means that he ends up in gravel.”
