Before the beginning of the 2023 season, the FIA issued a gag order. It stated how drivers cannot express their views on any political, religious, or personal matter without prior consent. While there was a big backlash towards this rule, drivers from Lewis Hamilton to Lando Norris expressed unanimous opinions against it. And since there has been no gagging for the drivers, ex-POTUS Donald Trump might face it in the Miami GP F1 arena. The race organizers are on the verge of canceling his track access due to ‘political motives’.
The Miami Grand Prix organizers sent a cease-and-desist letter Friday night to a prominent Trump fundraiser. The notice affirmed that he could not use a suite at an upcoming F1 race as a high-dollar fundraiser for the ‘Trump campaign’. According to multiple sources, Trump has been planning to attend the race.
As per the Washington Post, the letter read, “It has come to our attention that you may be using your Paddock Club Rooftop Suite for a political purpose, namely raising money for a federal election at $250,000 per ticket, which clearly violates the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix suite license agreement. If this is true, we regret to inform you that your suite license will be revoked, you will not be allowed to attend the race at any time, and we will refund you in full.”

The GP, which is supposed to happen in a week, is already breaking the internet for one reason or another. While the world is still left guessing who their guest performer will be, they have dropped a ‘Miss Americana’ magnitude hint, urging people to sell their tickets back and others to buy them now.
After offering an early bird ticket buyback (people who bought cheap tickets during the early bird offer can sell them back to the organizers and get some extra dollars in the process), ‘Circuit of the Americas’ founding partner has thrown in a hint at how big it can be. However, the identity of the musical guest still remains a mystery.

“Taylor (Swift) was here a few years ago, and I’ll say this is the biggest we’ve had since then,” COTA founding partner Bobby Epstein told CNN, dropping a hint at how big it can be. COTA will announce the entertainment lineup on April 29, and early bird buyers have until May 6 to sell back their tickets for $350.
