With rumors about Charles Leclerc possibly departing Ferrari increasing day by day, the recent post-race incident at the Mexican GP has only added more fuel to an already burning fire. However, the day just got worse for Ferrari’s PR team as eagle-eyed fans have accused the team of pulling a ‘Mercedes’ on Leclerc. This has left the online fans sad, resulting in interesting speculations about his future at the team.

It now seems like there simply can’t be a normal day at the office, for Ferrari. From being clowned for their spectacular strategies to driver speculation, the rumor mill seems to be on and on by the Tifosi. This time around, though, fans online have noticed a rather interesting change of behavior from the Scuderia.

During the post-race celebration at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, as usual, the top 3 finishers celebrate their finish with the team members. However, Ferrari was notably absent as Charles Leclerc celebrated his podium by himself. As always, this didn’t go unnoticed by the online world. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to draw their attention to this matter. Resulting in them being considerably disappointed and drawing quite a few hurtful speculations!

Interestingly enough, this is somewhat similar to what Mercedes did to Lewis Hamilton. In the 2023 Australian and Singapore Grand Prix, Hamilton had to celebrate his podium finish alone, as the Mercedes mechanics were nowhere to be seen. The fan reactions got even worse at the Singapore as Hamilton had to celebrate with the Ferrari and McLaren mechanics.

Charles Leclerc’s Mexico GP post-race celebration has the fans speculating bold accusations

As if watching Leclerc being squished by the Red Bulls of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez wasn’t enough for the Leclerc fans. Ferrari pulling a Mercedes on Leclerc simply made the day even worse for them. Unfortunately, this action by Ferrari gave birth to wild accusations from the fans who are already suspecting the worst!

This fan already had a gut feeling that something was quite wrong with Leclerc and Ferrari at their post-race celebration. With Ferrari’s video about the Leclerc podium being only 11 seconds long and missing a celebration with the mechanics, this does seem a bit unusual.

Granted that the podium at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez is not on the pit lane. But rather on the exit of the turn 13. Still, the Mercedes and Red Bull mechanics were there. Why not Ferrari mechanics?

We seriously do need some “Grande Charlie”. If you listen to the post-race radio talk between Leclerc and his race engineer, it’s depressing as hell! Please Max Verstappen, let others win too!!

Well, this fan was quick to speculate the inevitable, upon figuring out that the Ferrari mechanics were missing from the podium celebrations. Let’s just hope if Leclerc’s journey is supposed to end with Ferrari, hopefully it ends gracefully.

This fan has already made up their mind that Charles Leclerc has possibly told Ferrari that he will be parting ways with them, in the future. Now whether that happens or not remains to be seen. But in all honesty, this take isn’t too unrealistic. There’s a decent possibility of this being true, as Leclerc did sign with WME, reportedly in an attempt to distinguish his personal brand away from Ferari.

Everyone has the same question! Hopefully, team principal Frederic Vasseur soon comments on this issue.
