Rivalries in Formula One can even happen away from the track, as Mercedes teased Ferrari ahead of the Hungarian GP. The Mercedes AMG safety car has a bright red livery, hence the Silver Arrows took a dig at the Italian team, as the car rolled up to pole position.

Clearly, after seeing this, the Scuderia would be looking to set the fastest lap in tomorrow’s quali session and jinx the Brackley-based squad. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will be pushing the limits to have the edge over Mercedes at the Hungaroring.

As teams and drivers prepare themselves for the eleventh round of the championship; the Silver Arrows fire shots at the Maranello-based team, as they get ready to battle it all out in Sunday’s race.

They wrote on Twitter, “A red car on pole. You seeing this Scuderia Ferrari.”

Can Leclerc beat the Silver Arrows & bring home a victory?

The Monegasque driver was just a few laps away from a win at Silverstone. However, due to the brilliant driving from Lewis Hamilton, the Brit was able to catch Leclerc in the closing stages of the race and take the chequered flag.

The number 16 driver had to settle for second place, and was surely disappointed on not bring home their first win of the season. Leclerc has been able to get his Ferrari on pole twice, one at Monaco and the other in Azerbaijan. Seeing the dig that Mercedes, as taken on his team, will surely motivate the 23-year-old.

However, Hamilton is motivated as well and would be gunning at the provisional pole too. He knows by achieving pole, he will increase his chances of winning another race this season, which help him regain the lead in the title race, against, title-rival, Max Verstappen.
