Currently, there are two men in the spotlight in the world of Formula 1. The seven-time world champion and the boss of Red Bull. Both for different reasons, but this has completely taken over the news around the sport. While the hype around Lewis Hamilton is about him making his childhood dream come true, Christian Horner has been down for a nightmare ride.

It feels like all everyone is talking about is the Christian Horner investigation and no one can be blamed. The accusations against the Red Bull principal have caused quite a stir in the community. Even Ford had to step in due to having a contract planned in 2026 with the team. While discussing the topic of the Red Bull investigation at a news press conference before the Bahrain race, Lewis Hamilton was asked about his thoughts on the situation. As the suspense builds up, the Briton driver continued, “It will be really interesting to see how it’s dealt with and the effect it may well have on the sport.” The accusation of inappropriate behavior against a female employee caused the Red Bull principal to threaten his position in the company. Hamilton added, “We always have to do more to try to make the sport and the environment people work in feel safe and inclusive. Any allegations have to be taken very seriously.”

So far, Christian Horner has denied all allegations and has claimed to be innocent. Although the investigation has not been concluded, he led the RB20 presentation and was also there at the tracks during the pre-season testing. His confidence in his innocence has many believing that he is not guilty, but only time will tell if he will continue with the team or be sacked.

Truth be told, Toto Wolff is done hearing about the investigation. The matter that has been going on since February 5th has taken the world aback by the accusations against Christian Horner. The once-beloved team principal has found himself in a tough position. Recently the Mercedes Boss spoke with ORS and said, “Formula 1 has a reputation issue, because we are a sport in which there are mainly men in management positions and in the car, and we want to do more.”

This was reported by Motorsport-total and according to Wolff, this situation should be taken “very seriously”. By now everyone just wants the issue resolved as Formula One wants to move into the season on a good note. Wanting resolve, the Austrian team boss also said, “We always have to do more to try to make the sport and the environment people work in feel safe and inclusive. Any allegations have to be taken very seriously.”
