One such relationship that has always had a huge amount of mutual respect is the one the Brit shares with tennis legend, Serena Williams.

The duo of Hamilton and Williams are arguably the greatest of all time in their own respective domains. However, outside the cutthroat world of sports, they are as human as we are. Hence, they too, like us, share the same milestones, feelings, and aspirations. One such milestone in the illustrious life of the 41-year-old Tennis Wonder Woman was the birth of her 2nd child, Adira River Ohanian.

Lewis Hamilton bizarrely backtracks on Serena Williams’ big day

In a career dotted with many achievements, Williams’ happiest day would have been on Tuesday as she and her entrepreneur husband, Alexis Ohanian, welcomed their second child. ABC News reported, “The tennis legend, 41, announced the birth of her second child, a daughter named Adira River Ohanian, with husband Alexis Ohanian in a TikTok video Tuesday.”

Congratulations to her! But what’s surprising is that Hamilton hasn’t said a word since. What adds more curiosity to this fact is his show of excitement back in May this year when Williams announced her pregnancy. He had commented on her Instagram post back then, writing, “Many Blessing.”

That being said, ever since the announcement of Adira’s birth, the Brit hasn’t troubled himself to publicly congratulate the mother of two. Be that as it may, it’s safe to say that the Brit still regards the 23x Grand Slam winner very highly.

Hamilton’s heartfelt tribute to Williams

Hamilton knows a thing or two about having an illustrious career. But he still is as motivated as ever to go on for many more years to come. However, as Williams bowed out of the sport she conquered, back in 2022, Hamilton wrote a touching tribute for someone he calls a dear friend.

He wrote, “Taking a moment before the race today to show my appreciation and gratitude to the greatest of all time, Serena Williams. We will never see another Serena. She’s one of a kind; She came through like a wrecking ball and has been so spectacular to witness. She has such fierceness, power, and strength in both body and mind. To be so bold, Black, brave and, above all, a kind and caring human being is beautiful.”
