Amid all this, the question of Lewis Hamilton being robbed of the 2021 title comes up. An F1 Legend has now come out to battle for Lewis Hamilton and bring justice to the 7X Champion as he triggers Max Verstappen while doing so.
We’re sure that if you’ve watched the 2021 Abu Dhabi GP, you’ll have an opinion on what happened out on the track. While the official results suggest that Verstappen is the champion, many advise that Lewis Hamilton rightfully deserved the title. Even former F1 race winner and Sky presenter, Johnny Herbert advised that the Brit should’ve been crowned the 2021 champion.

According to a video uploaded by @LH44_insights, an interviewer, while discussing the 2021 Championship finale asked Herbert if Hamilton was robbed. The F1 Legend replied, “Yeah, definitely. Yeah. And I know Max gets very sensitive when he hears those words about being robbed but Lewis was robbed”

While defending Lewis Hamilton and suggesting him to be the rightful champion of the controversial 2021 finale, Herbert also triggered Max Verstappen as he advised how the Dutchman is sensitive toward his first title being advised as a robbery. However, Hamilton accepted his defeat like a true champion and was even praised for how he reacted to the sensitive situation.
Red Bull Legend praises Lewis Hamilton’s maturity

Lewis Hamilton was devastated after the loss of the 2021 Abu Dhabi GP. The Brit spent a lot of time in his car and didn’t get out as he collected his thoughts and stared into the emptiness. Yet the Briton gathered courage, got out of the car, and went on to congratulate Max Verstappen. Despite the tragic loss, Hamilton didn’t back out of congratulating his arch-rival.
When David Coulthard was asked about Hamilton’s reaction, it was only praise that came from the Red Bull Legend’s side. Coulthard at a Red Bull event in Dublin said, “The way Lewis handled it was fantastic. Maybe when he was younger, it would have been more difficult to do that. But he’s in his late 30s, he’s done a few laps, and I think with age comes maturity.”
