Revealing you’re working on a secret project and then making a burner account on Instagram that was anything but anonymous? Lewis Hamilton sure knows how to send his fans into overdrive. The entire concept of a burner account is to stay anonymous while using the account for activities people wouldn’t want to have tied with their official accounts. But Hamilton defeated that purpose as soon as he followed @ev10am26la whose bio is “LH burning account.” Turns out the 10 and 26 points to the 26th of October, because that’s the day his secret project is going live.

Here’s a rundown of the hints Hamilton has given about his “secret project.” Earlier this year, he casually said he was working on something special, not elaborating further. During the summer break, he went into radio silence but came back online for a jiffy. He tweeted, “Enjoyed the weekend off, how’s everyone?” A fan replied, “can we know more about that secret project you’re working on? 🤨🤨🤨” and Hamilton responded, “Not yet. You’ll get a taste of it soon…”

It’s all starting to make sense now. At least by what fans are speculating on X. His choice of words—taste—and the fact that he was sipping a drink (from a glass!) during a post-race interview at the Japanese GP. Could it be that he’s pointing to the fact that his “secret project” is some kind of a drink? Well, we only need to wait another day or so to find out. But while we’re waiting, let the guessing games begin!

Is Lewis Hamilton releasing a women’s fashion line?

On October 23, Hamilton sent a mail to his subscribers. He wrote, “I’ve been working on something new that goes beyond the track and can’t wait to share it with you all.” Along with this, he sent a link for people to register “to be the first to know” what he’s working on. What did the link lead to? A website called ‘ALMAVE’ with a countdown for the project’s release (set to October 26). Considering that fans have the name of the secret project and the time it’s releasing, the speculations were inevitable.

ALMAVE. What does that sound like to you? Maybe a drink?

October 26 is a Thursday. It’s also Media Day at the Mexican GP. And what’s Mexico famous for?

Usually, drivers drink from their bottles after a session. But the fact that Hamilton had an actual glass in his hand with a drink at the Japanese GP only pointed further to how ALMAVE could be a drink.

Many fans made random guesses, too.

Considering he just signed a two-year contract extension, that doesn’t seem likely. Sorry to disappoint… In other news, Hamilton recently got disqualified from the US GP.

After the US GP, the FIA found that his car’s plankboard on the floor (or the skid block) had more wear than the legal limit. Could ALMAVE be a wear-proof skid block?

The past few weeks haven’t been the best for Hamilton, and neither has his trust in Mercedes. Tissue papers seem like a good project to work on considering how his time at Mercedes has been recently.

Hamilton is a fashion diva. That’s a fact. Although he’s already released a fashion line with Tommy Hilfiger, is ALVAME a line exclusively for women?
