George Russell and Carmen Mundt might not be as public and open about their relationship as we’d like, however, the two are absolute couple goals. The pair have been dating since 2020 and even though we don’t see them flaunting their relationship on social media as they prefer privacy, the two are going strong. On some occasions when they do share their private life with their followers on Instagram, the fans can’t help but wish for them to ring the wedding bells. To add a twinkle to the eyes of the fans and fulfill their wish, Russell took on the challenge of becoming a “favorite son-in-law”.

The Brit made his bid for the favorite son-in-law ahead of the holiday season. Russell and Mundt both appeared in part three of the Gift Wrapping Sessions on the Tommy Hilfiger Instagram page. In the video, Russell shared his favorite winter activity, which is Sledging, with a hint of banter while they wrapped presents for their family.

So after Russell was done defending his favorite winter activity which his girlfriend wasn’t aware of, the Mercedes man took on the duty to wrap his girlfriend’s mother’s gift. Before he even began, he got strict instructions from Mundt as she said, “Make sure you do that nicely.” 

Clearly conscious about his gift-wrapping talents, Russell started confessing it was the underlayer that was hindering him from wrapping the gift properly. Mundt cheekily amped up the pressure game as she added, “You know, my mum likes things very tidy.”

After finding the perfect box, and explaining sledging one more time, Russell signed a card that read, “Love, your favorite son-in-law” or that’s what he said and not written.

When asked if she likes the sport, she replied, “Not at all. Takes my head away from work and I enjoy the sport and spending time with him. There’s nothing that brings me more joy than G’s success. Yes. Traveling is quite draining and time consuming. I’m trying to reduce it as much as possible.”
