It’s one thing for an F1 driver to seek thrills off the track, but when the team boss starts taking daredevil risks, eyebrows inevitably rise. Toto Wolff, recently met with a shocking accident while on vacation, but he’s also back in action, flaunting his adventures with a fractured arm. Fans, however, are pointing fingers at an unusual suspect for Wolff’s perilous pursuits—none other than Lewis Hamilton. Could Hamilton’s escapades be setting a precedent too dangerous for his boss to ignore? Wolff’s dangerous escapades come on the heels of Hamilton’s own adventurous outing a few months ago that involved snowboarding in the Antarctic.
Toto recently shared about the 2009 incident where he found himself at the Nurburgring, a race track that has been dubbed “The Green Hell” due to its difficulty and danger. His objective? To break the course’s lap record. Wolff navigated the tortuous circuit in a Porsche 911 RSR, reaching speeds as high as 189 mph. It was then that his right rear tire burst, sending his car spinning into multiple crash barriers. It’s an incident that could have cost him his life. But that’s not all, as Toto Wolff, lately fractured his elbow in a downhill mountain biking accident during a family holiday. Despite this painful setback and a full-length arm cast, Wolff was subsequently seen wakeboarding with a strapped arm. But blaming Hamilton for Wolff’s perilous inclinations seems not just far-fetched but unfounded.

It was just a few months back when Lewis Hamilton traded the roar of his F1 engine for the swish of a snowboard in the icy terrains of Antarctica. In a daring session with Olympic snowboarder Shaun White, Hamilton took a tumble into freezing waters only to climb back up and ace it the second time around. White later praised Hamilton’s ‘champion mindset,’ but now it seems like this mindset is catching, perhaps too much so. One can’t help but wonder, has Hamilton’s daredevil spirit rubbed off on Wolff?
Fans blame Lewis Hamilton for Toto Wolff’s stunt
Fans couldn’t help but draw parallels between Hamilton’s indomitable spirit and Wolff’s audacity to hit the water despite his injury. Reactions flooded, with a barrage of humorous yet concerned comments blaming Hamilton for setting an ‘adventurously’ cool example that Wolff appears to be following a little too closely.
