Rap artists aren’t the most compliant of beings. There is no shortage of drama between rappers in the music industry. The recent Kendrick Lamar and Drake controversy is just a perfect example of what happens when two rappers take their dislike for each other to the extreme. However, a recent development involving Lewis Hamilton about the rivalry between the two hip-hop stars has made the LH army go bananas on social media, forcing him to change his mind.

The Lamar-Drake saga involves the release of several tracks exchanged between the two artists, each aiming to outdo the other with their lyrics. The most recent installment in this feud is Kendrick Lamar’s track “Not Like Us,” released on May 4th, which marks his fourth track aimed at Drake in less than 48 hours.

In this latest release, Lamar doesn’t hold back, launching verbal attacks against the Toronto rapper and even making allegations regarding Drake’s personal life. However, they were not always bitter rivals like they are today. There was a time when they were collaborators and touring partners. But how is Lewis Hamilton related to all this?

Lewis Hamilton’s fans found out that he has followed Drake on his Instagram page, and that led to a ton of comments on social media suggesting that Mercedes might have picked the wrong side between the two hip-hop stars, assuming he did pick a side to begin with.

The origins of this feud can be traced back to 2011 when Lamar appeared as a guest artist on Drake’s album “Take Care.” However, tensions began to rise in 2013 when Lamar called out Drake and other rappers in his verse on Big Sean’s song “Control.” This sparked a back-and-forth exchange of diss tracks and public remarks, fueling their rivalry.

As soon as Hamilton following Drake hit Instagram, LH fans took to the comments to share their opinions. There was one who suggested that Lewis shouldn’t associate himself with questionable people. “I love Lewis but he always associates himself with questionable people.”
