Mercedes’ success in F1 is not just a result of the way they perform, but also the way the team communicates with its supporters and keeps them involved on a regular basis. The Silver Arrows team has updated their fans with one of the limited edition cars, which also acts as a great throwback to their championship-winning car.
The Formula One community is in its off-season and Mercedes has engaged its followers with fresh posts over the few weeks. The Silver Arrows just published a post in which they announced the collector’s edition of the SL 63 Motorsport.
Although it doesn’t offer any additional performance over a standard SL 63, its design is bound to conjure images of Mercedes’ F1 squad. It is intended to mimic the W12, Mercedes’ F1 vehicle for 2021. Its matte black, 21-inch 10-twin-spoke wheels and has distinctive Petronas green embellishments around the rim to match the livery. Performance is unchanged from the basic SL63, in contrast to its updated appearance. This car’s livery boasts a striking resemblance to the Mercedes-AMG ONE production car which was built with the dream to bring the F1 technology to the streets.

The new Mercedes unveiling has astonished Twitter F1 fans
The “High Tech Silver Metallic” paint of this special edition of the SL 63 fades into the “Obsidian Black Metallic” paint on the rear fender in a unique, graded transition. The team has posted it on social media platforms where they wrote, ” Presenting the new SL63 Motorsport Collectors Edition, featuring original W12 paintwork.”
Under the hood, this car houses a 4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 from AMG that delivers 577 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels with a nine-speed automated transmission, allowing for a 3.6-second 0-60 mph time and a top speed of 195 mph. AMG Performance basic seats are offered in black leather and microfiber with either red or yellow contrast stitching. We listed some of the incredible reactions we have provided for you below.
