Since his debut in 2007, Lewis Hamilton has maintained his record of winning at least one race every season. Until now, that is. From being a consecutive four-time world champion to not winning a single race, it has not been an easy year for Hamilton. But, the Mercedes driver has been slowly catching up. The US Grand Prix last weekend saw Lewis Hamilton’s exhilarating comeback as he gave a tense fight to Max Verstappen.

Following 2021, when the FIA enacted new technical regulations, Mercedes was left floundering in the dust behind Red Bull.

But their struggles with the W13 seem to be coming to an end. Lewis Hamilton took the lead for a considerable portion of the race at Austin, keeping Verstappen at bay after his second pit stop. It was as if the past year had been a fever dream and Hamilton fans cheered up a storm.

But it was not to last. Verstappen’s RB18 managed to take back the lead and win the race. While Red Bull celebrated its Constructor’s Championship trophy, Lewis Hamilton was asked how it would feel to beat Ferrari to P2 for the Constructor’s standings.

“I can’t put into words how much it would mean to the team,” Hamilton replied, “To get a win would be a huge triumph for us all and hugely rewarding, but I think today what I’ll take for today is we had good pace.”

“I’m still here and I know when they build the car, I will take it to the top, so we’ve just got to keep working,” added the Mercedes driver, confidently.

Lewis Hamilton seems sure of the fact that it is only a matter of time before he is back where he belongs, at the top of the food chain. We can only hope that his strong determination pays off.

Lewis Hamilton launches his own production house, Dawn Apollo Films

Lewis Hamilton is by no means going to sit quietly while Mercedes builds the perfect car for him. On the contrary, Hamilton has set his eyes beyond racing into the world of entertainment.

Lewis Hamilton announced the launch of his own film and TV company recently. Named after the Greek god of sunlight, music, and poetry, Hamilton’s new venture is called ‘Dawn Apollo Films’.

Dawn Apollo is already working on exciting projects like a racing film starring Brad Pitt directed by Joe Kosinski and a feature documentary on Hamilton’s own journey. When asked what inspired him to move in this direction, Hamilton answered:

“I’ve always been into movies. I watch a lot. I find it a real escape. There are a lot of movies I find inspiring and I’ve always dreamed of one day doing something in this space.”

“The goal is to make impactful stories and ultimately to inspire people through movies and storytelling. A big part of the new company will be about social impact, community and causes. That’s very important to me.”
