Netflix has released its documentary series, Drive to Survive season 4, on the 11th of March. The show unveils all the behind-scenes action of Formula 1. And the buildup to the show was at an all-time high as the fans eagerly wanted to witness the 2021 season’s drama.

Max Verstappen and Toto Wolff have indicated that the show exaggerates the rivalries between the team and the drivers. However, Mercedes’ official Twitter handle joined the Drive to Survive hype train as they released a video of them watching the show.

Mercedes’ Twitter handle hypes up Drive to Survive

Red Bull and Mercedes are at the center of the plot of Drive to Survive. The first episode captures the first race of the season in Bahrain, and the clash between Hamilton and Verstappen.

The show once again returns to the rivalry in episode three when Verstappen and Hamilton crash at Silverstone. Consequently, the Dutchman was rushed to an ambulance for checks, but he was alright in the end.

Mercedes’ official Twitter handle immediately joined the fans in watching the show as they teased them with a tweet. The video in the tweet contained the admin watching the show. It also showed Netflix’s iconic theme and continued into the “Who’s watching” section with Toto Wolff, Lewis Hamilton, George Russell and Admin listed.

However, the fans were eager to know who paid for Netflix’s subscription. And the admin did not miss the chance and hilariously replied that Toto Wolff pays for it.

Mercedes are struggling in Bahrain, according to Hamilton

Everything is not going according to the plan for Mercedes. They presented a new design of the car in Bahrain, which left everyone surprised. But Hamilton and Russell did not have the best testing in Bahrain. Experts believe that the Silver Arrows are not showing their true potential ahead of the race week in the same venue.

However, Hamilton has admitted the car is not up to speed in the testing. He said, “It’s tough at the moment. You can see the on-boards, tank-slappers left right and centre, bouncing and bumpy.”

Surprisingly, the seven-time World Champion also believes that Ferrari and Red Bull look stronger than the Silver Arrows. He also revealed that the two of them have a very good chance to emerge victorious next week.

He added, “I think Ferrari, from what I can see, they would get a one-two… or maybe Red Bull.”

It is interesting that Mercedes is not up to the standards, with just a week remaining for the new season. But the Silver Arrows have proved repeatedly that they can bounce back from difficult situations. Will Mercedes start with a bang, or will the other competitors finally beat the Silver Arrows? It remains to be seen.
