The rivalry between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen knows no bounds. Ever since the 2021 season, the two and their entire fanbase are at each other’s throats. The two might not be fighting on the track at the moment, especially because of W14’s inferior performance. However, Max Verstappen is still finding ways to poke Mercedes and Hamilton using the team’s own terminology to describe the car. What’s worse is Verstappen poked fun at the Mercedes in a completely unrelated scenario.
The suboptimal state of the W14 is no secret. The man suffering from this scenario, Hamilton, in recent weeks, made his voice heard with complaints about the car. These incessant complaints made the team acknowledge the W14’s shortcomings and get back to the drawing board.

This public scrutiny of the W14 from Hamilton has come to everyone’s attention and some drivers are enjoying this internal drama. In fact, the Red Bull man took a second out of his Twitch live stream to poke fun at the Silver Arrows, which we see on a video posted on Twitter.
While speaking to his iRacing compatriots on a live stream, a fellow named Jhonny asked Verstappen, “What’s the least fun car to drive in iRacing?” To this question, Verstappen brutally and hilariously replied, “The Mercedes F1 car. They’re shitboxes.”

Max Verstappen might still be salty after losing the Australian GP battle to Lewis Hamilton
Verstappen might’ve won the Australian GP race, but he lost multiple battles to the Mercedes men during the race. Allow us to explain. The Dutchman lost his first battle against George Russell and lost the lead in the opening drag race. The next couple of battles would’ve especially hurt as Verstappen came close to his old foe.

Russell’s overtake might’ve not hurt as much as Hamilton’s overtake. Especially because Verstappen felt he was pushed during Hamilton’s overtaking. Later in the race, during a safety car period, Verstappen also complained about Hamilton leaving a distance of more than 10 car lengths from the safety car.
However, the FIA rejected Verstappen’s official objection and explained the leader of the race can “dictate the pace and, if necessary, fall more than 10 lengths behind it.”
