There are many questions in the minds of F1 fans for the coming season; questions like “Will the next season be as good as 2021?”, “Will Max Verstappen make it back-to-back?”, “Will Nikita Mazepin win a Grand Prix?” But there’s no bigger question than this – Will Lewis Hamilton continue in F1?

This is something that has only grown bigger and bigger ever since Mercedes Team Principal suggested there’s a chance the Briton might not continue in the sport post his crushing defeat in Abu Dhabi in 2021.

And Hamilton’s own silence didn’t help the rumors from reaching a new high of uncertainty.

But it seems like those rumors, and this discourse can finally go to bed. Because what Mercedes recently posted on their social media all but confirms that Sir Lewis Hamilton will indeed continue in F1.

“An incredible 103 F1 wins and counting for Lewis Hamilton,” the post reads. And it doesn’t take a genius to understand what “and counting” means in this context.

So rejoice Hamilton fans, there’s more to come from the seven-time world champion, which is not only good news for his fans and his team but for the entire sport.

F1 rival believes Lewis Hamilton not hanging up the boots yet

Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko recently expressed his thoughts on whether Hamilton will continue in F1. Marko said, “Lewis will do everything to grab that eighth title. He is still too good to stop and has been able to deal with losses before. He can do that now too.”

All that’s left now is for Lewis Hamilton to come up with a statement or the slightest of sign to extinguish the fire surrounding his future. Let’s hope he does so soon and continues to rise.
