Formula One has officially announced that the Las Vegas GP will join the F1 calendar next season. All the F1 teams and drivers are excited about the new race and can’t hold their horses to drive on the Las Vegas F1 circuit. Carlos Sainz recalls his ‘cameo’ in the movie Hangover
It seems the drivers and teams had the best reference to showcase their excitement for Las Vegas GP. Carlos Sainz went on to his Twitter and shared a clip from the 2009 English comedy movie, Hangover. In that clip, Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis get into a lift in a hotel in Vegas with a baby and Zach calls the baby Carlos. Further, The Ferrari driver captioned the clip with, “I always wanted to go back to Vegas!! Hyped for F1 Vegas”

Mercedes F1 knows the Photoshop game
But Sainz wasn’t the only one to use the Hangover reference. The Silver Arrows went onto their social media with an image from that lift scene in the movie. However, the German constructors swapped a few things in the image like they changed the faces.

They put Toto Wolff‘s face over Cooper while Lewis Hamilton and George Russell‘s faces were on Galifianakis and Helms, respectively. Further, the Brackley base put their F1 team logo on the baby’s face. Further, they captioned, “How ’bout that ride in? I guess that’s why they call it Sin City. F1 is going to Vegas!”

Everything you need to know about the Las Vegas GP circuit
The Las Vegas GP will have a street circuit that is 3.8 miles long. Moreover, it will feature long stretches along with some high-speed corners and it will allow the F1 drivers to speed up to 210 mph. Also, the Las Vegas GP will be a Saturday race that will take place at night. So, drivers would drive their 2023 challengers under the night sky, with the entire city lit up with neon lights. The drivers will pass by world-renowned hotels and casinos while driving on the Las Vegas strip.
