The Italian manufacturers also completed most laps in 3 days of testing. The team finished with 439 laps. Binotto will hope to use the valuable data to good effect, with drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz looking to deliver from the start.

The Ferrari Team Principal said, “We are happy, first of all because we managed to cover many laps. We have become familiar with the car and collected a lot of data, but if we talk about lap times, I think it’s too early ”.

He added, “In tests, each team runs in different conditions, and everyone is faster than what we have seen these days. It was important for us to grind kilometers and collect as much data as possible, now we will return to Maranello and we will have a few days available for analysis before leaving for Bahrain.”

The F1-75 will be a daunting challenge for the likes of Red Bull and Mercedes. The two rivals have gone head-to-head in recent seasons, but possibly face another challenger in 2022.

This season is pivotal for Ferrari as they hope to end their barren spell without winning silverware. The team won their last Constructors’ Championship in 2008. With two young drivers on the grid, this could well be the season when Ferrari announces their return to the big stage.
