Sporting idols become an integral part of an athlete’s life. But more than anything, one would wanna pick their brains, or compete with them to see and learn what makes them so good at what they do. That being said, Lewis Hamilton is a multi-dimensional personality. It’s no secret that amongst his fanatical love for the sport, the Brit is seen as a lover of many passions and things. Music and fashion would top that list. However, the 7x Champion also shares a close affinity with bikes, and mostly the racing kind!
Hamilton also shares a special and close bond with MotoGP legend, Valentino Rossi. During a segment of a Sky Sports feature, Hamilton and Rossi shared a conversation about almost everything racing. And since then, it’s pretty clear that it’s safe to call them friends.

After he pulled the curtain on his bike racing career, Rossi has gone on to try his hand out at GT racing. That being said, his love for MotoGP is apparent and takes a new shape in the form of the Mooney VR46 Racing team competing in the premier class of bike racing. The lineup boasts of talents such as Marco Bezzecchi and Luca Marini.
Bezzecchi recently did an interview for MotoGP. While the Italian MotoGP rider revealed that he would love to have a chilled-out session playing video games with the legendary Valentino Rossi and his teammate, Luca Marini, he had some peculiar aspirations with the 7x Champion, Hamilton. When he was asked, “Who would you open a restaurant with?” the 24-year-old replied, “With Pecco [Bagnaia] and Lewis Hamilton”.
The time will come when Hamilton decides to hang up his racing helmet. However, as it would appear, owning a restaurant doesn’t actually feature on his post-retirement bucket list. That may be the case because Hamilton already owns a vegan fast-food joint.

Hamilton is currently working towards getting that elusive 8th-world title. However, at some point in the future, the Brit will want to stop and focus on other things. Now, he’s come out with the exact post-retirement plan he’s going to be following.
He told Deadline, “When I stop racing – which I don’t plan on doing for a while, I still feel I’m in a good place – I want it to be seamless. I want to be able to move on to fully focus on Dawn Apollo Films [his new production venture] and to be able to jump in at a similar level to what I’ve been used to.”
