Daniel Ricciardo has one of the liveliest personalities on the grid. He has already proved himself as a racer and has helped Renault become the most improved team this season.
Key said, “He’ll bring a great deal of experience and a huge amount of determination. I think what has always impressed me with Daniel is his massive amounts of determination he has, particularly while he’s driving.”
“He is a very different, sort of character really when he’s out of the car. He is more relaxed and incredibly determined he’s racing. All that will bring good confidence to the team and a slightly different kind of aspect of how we see things with the car technically as well,” he further added.

Daniel Ricciardo will also bring a relaxed environment to the team. His fun and jovial personality will help ease the team’s transition with his move.
McLaren had a great race at the Bahrain GP, with Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz finishing P4 and P5, respectively. Ricciardo will surely be excited at McLaren’s performance, and try to perform just as well when he’s in their car. McLaren, too, will hope that his inclusion in the team will help then fight for podiums consistently.
