The all-electric racing series has already enticed the big four German manufacturers – Audi, BMW, Mercedes, and Porsche. Other manufacturers include Jaguar, DS, Nissan, and Mahindra.

So, it would not be out of the realm of possibility to see McLaren throw its hat in the ring. With Audi and BMW set to leave the series next season, it would open up several new avenues. The British company could either tie up with an existing team or enter as a brand new team in its own right.
