Beating Max Verstappen in any sort of way during the 2023 season is bound to bring happiness. The Dutchman’s dominance has been unparalleled, with only his teammate taking 2 victories away from him. However, beating Max Verstappen wasn’t enough for Lando Norris, who reacted to a frustrating outing at the Singapore GP practice session. What did Lando Norris say?
The FP1 session isn’t a representative session at the Singapore GP as the race is held at night time and FP1 takes place in sunlight. This makes FP2 all the more important. Lando Norris finished the FP2 session in P6, ahead of both the Red Bulls. The Red Bulls seemed to be struggling at the Marina Bay circuit. However, Lando Norris wasn’t happy with the result. McLaren has been struggling since the summer break ended.
🗣️ | Lando Norris: “I’m not first, so I’m not happy, but I think it was a good day for us, really hard and complicated, clearly very competitive. But we made a good step forward, we did everything we had to do.” 👊
