January is almost over but it’s still the F1 winter break with the racing action more than a month away. As everyone in the world of F1 is growing impatient, so did Lando Norris, and the Brit could not help himself but put on his racing helmet and get behind the wheel. Norris took a challenge from a famous YouTuber in unfamiliar territory and under extreme circumstances and surprisingly lost, but it gets worse.
Norris did not just race on a track he has never done but he also raced in the most difficult conditions he has ever raced in. The Brit was clearly unprepared for the “Finland Grand Prix” and it showed as he came second in a two-man, one-lap race. However, Norris also placed a mega bet on this race and now that he has lost, the McLaren man will have to pay.

He will have to get YouTuber, podcaster, and author Mike Majlak two paddock tickets to the next race, which is the season opener in Bahrain. It’s not like the YouTuber worth $8 million can’t afford paddock tickets. However, no one can deny free tickets to one of the best entertainment events on the planet.
On the other hand, if Norris had won, Majlak would’ve had to host Norris in LA, which seems like an opportunity more than a cost.
However, the guy McLaren is putting all their hopes on for a future world championship and who recently signed a long-term contract, lost. How? Well, we might have an answer for that.
F1 star Lando Norris beaten by YouTuber because of freak track conditions
We are aware of how the subheading sounds like an excuse. However, that’s the same excuse perhaps Norris will use as well if he ever has to explain how he lost a race in a go-kart to a YouTuber. Believe it or not, it was genuinely down to the weather conditions and one look at the track would make you believe us.

Introducing the race on his Vlog, Majlak said, “We are here at the Finland Grand Prix. Sub-zero temperatures, hairpin icy turns. We’re joined here today by McLaren team racer Lando Norris.” He then confidentially added, “I’m going to be racing him today. Well, sorry, let me put it like this. I’m going to be beating him today.” After some banter, Norris asked, “You’ve been practicing already?” to which Majlak said, “I did like three laps.”
This is where the race was lost. The Brit had no idea of the track conditions and Majlak’s practice runs helped him beat an F1 driver in a race. Not many can say that!

All jokes apart, it seems the Brit is still spending time around snow before he gets back to his grueling training to prepare for the season opener. Moreover, it looks like we will be seeing Mike Majlak with his bestie Jake Paul during a race weekend soon.
