It’s safe to say he’s lived up to all the hype, having already proven himself a future world champion. 

While his on-track performances have taken the F1 world by storm, the Aussie has been too upfront about his love life. So whenever his girlfriend, Lily Zneimer, walks with him through the paddock, the adorable couple steals the limelight, and that’s precisely what happened in Monza.

Oscar Piastri has lady luck on his side for the Italian GP

Apart from the fact that she’s a pescetarian, the F1 community knows little about Zneimer, primarily due to her limited appearances in the paddock. Despite staying out of the public eye as much as possible and keeping things private, Piastri has expressed how supportive she is of his career and has been there for him as he rose up the ranks. So, after their outings to Wimbledon and a summer trip to Portugal, Zneimer decided it was finally time to grace the F1 paddock with her presence.

As the couple walked into the Monza paddock on Friday, it barely took time for people to notice and dub them one of the most adorable F1 couples. Knowing that Zneimer was finally in the paddock, everyone was on the lookout for her, and a fan found her supporting Piastri while still maintaining a low profile. As per an Instagram post by ‘f1gossippofficial,’ Zneimer was backstage in the fan zone while her boyfriend engaged with the Italian fans. 

Zneimer has this lively aura that puts her in the spotlight even when she isn’t particularly fond of it. The love she’s receiving from fans for being there for Piastri— even if it’s staying backstage—is a testament to how much the F1 community loves them together. Even though she might’ve wanted to keep a low profile throughout the weekend, a battle for supremacy started as soon as she walked into the paddock with Piastri.

Oscar Piastri & Lily Zneimer versus Alex Albon & Lily Muni

The battle for the cutest couple in the paddock. Which Lily couple will reign supreme: Piastri and Zneimer or Albon and Muni? With all the paddock appearances professional golfer Lily Muni has made to support Alex Albon, they became one of F1’s ‘It’ couples as soon as the F1 community caught wind of their relationship. The fact that their story started because of Muni taking a liking toward Albon after watching Drive to Survive only makes them cuter. 

Even though the origins of Piastri and Zneimer’s relationship aren’t known, one look at them together was all it took to put them in contention for the ‘cutest couple’ title. Now that the F1 community has gotten a taste of what it’s like to see Piastri and Zneimer in the paddock, they’ll only want more. Whether or not Zneimer’s appearances to support Piastri will be as frequent as Muni’s for Albon, only time will tell.
