Remember how Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris played Red Flag or Green Flag a few months ago? The McLaren pair talked about fussy eaters and pescatarians. Norris asked, “What’s a pescatarian?” Piastri replied, “Fish only. My girlfriend’s pescatarian.” What did Norris say after putting up his red flag? “They shouldn’t be here.” Piastri, taken aback, said he’d pass that on to his girlfriend, Lily Zneimer, to which Norris said, “Your girlfriend’s lovely, mate, but it’s time to move on.” Well, it looks like fans took that more seriously than Piastri. As has become increasingly usual in the F1 paddock, breakup rumors suddenly sprung up. But Zneimer may have just put them to rest.

Piastri and Zneimer are the definition of a private couple. Even though Lily Zneimer isn’t a fan of the spotlight, she makes it a point to cheer for Piastri from the sidelines. So, when the F1 community saw nothing but public radio silence—public being the keyword—people assumed they’d broken up. If that was what it took to stop the rumors—a public display of support—Zneimer did just that.

Oscar Pisatri’s girlfriend appreciated him after Vegas GP

Since Lily Zneimer isn’t a fan of the spotlight, she isn’t a frequent paddock visitor. So when she does make her way to support and spend time with Oscar Piastri, the couple steals the show. Earlier this year, Piastri and Zneimer went to watch Wimbledon matches. Seeing as Piastri and Zneimer aren’t too vocal about their relationship, the media took its chances and asked Piastri about it. The Aussie revealed, “We keep it private. We have been together for—I better get this right—about four and a half years now!”

Considering he said that and the fact that they’ve been together for so long, the breakup rumors didn’t make too much sense. Either way, Zneimer ensured the speculations stopped with a simple gesture online. The Las Vegas GP last weekend was an action-packed race, and Piastri was one of the protagonists. He started the race in P18 and spent most of the second half in P4.

An incident with Lewis Hamilton ruined his chances of staying there, and ultimately, he finished in P10. Needless to say, he was pleased with his performance and took to Instagram to express his satisfaction. That’s where Zneimer came in. Posting a few pictures of himself, Piastri wrote, “Rolled the dice and bagged some points 🎲 Vegas, you were fun!” Showing her support for her boyfriend, Zneimer responded, “👏👏🧡.” 

The Instagram handle @f1gossippofficial posted this on their page and wrote, “After some rumors of a possible breakup between Oscar and Lily, the girl left a comment on the pilot’s photo yesterday! 👀”

With them liking to keep their relationship private, what more could Zneimer have done to prove that she and Piastri are still going strong? Oscar Piastri and Lily Zneimer may be as close as ever, but Piastri’s teammate seems to have forgotten about their relationship.

Lando Norris seems to believe Oscar Piastri took his advice

When Lando Norris asked Oscar Piastri to move on from Lily Zneimer because she’s a pescatarian, no one thought he was serious. Least of all, Piastri. But it looks like the Brit thought he was pretty clear, and Piastri moved on. If a recent video on McLaren’s YouTube channel is anything to go by, Norris thinks Piastri and Zneimer have broken up. 

The McLaren boys played ‘Who’s Most Likely To,’ and one of the questions was: Who’s most likely to be on a reality TV show? Piastri held up Norris’ mask, but the Brit seemed to think otherwise. Norris said, “I feel like you’d go on like Australian ‘Take Me Out’ or something. Blind Dates? ‘Oscar Piastri Blind Dates’ coming up.”

Piastri denied it, saying, “No. No chance.” But Norris pushed on, “I reckon you’d do Love Island or something. Australian Love Island.” Piastri put an end to the conversation by joking, “I’d be the first one voted off.”
