The 2023 Formula 1 season is finally over, and after a grueling 22 races around the globe, the drivers will finally take a breather. However, drivers crave some excitement even during this break, thanks to being in a high-octane and adrenaline-pumping environment for prolonged periods. We are sure we will see many examples before the new season as we keep up with the drivers’ social media activities. However, to prove the aforementioned point, McLaren man Lando Norris is already taking on snowy adventures to kickstart things.

The Brit had the best season of his career in the circus in 2023. So before he gears up to take that a step further, the McLaren driver is already getting to his winter break to-do list. The first stop on the list is the snowy mountains of the French Alps with his best friend, Martin Garrix.

Lando Norris formed an unlikely friendship with the Dutch DJ after the two were introduced by Max Verstappen. Since then, the two have been spotted or deduced to be together in various locations, engaged in various fun-filled activities across the globe. The F1 star even took a trip to Tomorrowland with Verstappen to attend one of Garrix’s sets during the music festival during the summer break. And the popular DJ played at the 2023 Las Vegas GP afterparty as well.

Now, after Norris admitted he is out skiing with friends, the F1 fanbase has deduced he is doing so with Garrix. Let us give you some proof. The Dutch DJ was seen partying in La Baraque – Val d’Isère, a hotel in the French Alps, with his friend and DJ Alix. Alix posted a story from the hotel where we see Garrix in a certain outfit. Garrix’s outfit is the same as the photo shared by the F1 gossip column. Add 2+2!

Furthermore, the next day, we saw a story of Garrix going up the hill on a cable car surrounded by white snowy mountains with people skiing downhill. This proves not only that he’s in the French Alps but also that he has Norris for company. We haven’t seen any updates from the Brit yet, but we hope to see a photo dump in the coming weeks when he can feel his fingers again.

So Norris has already kickstarted his off-track adventures with his best bud. What about his on-track best bud? Will he join him in the coming future, because he definitely wants to.

It’s no secret Lando Norris and Max Verstappen have formed a healthy relationship. The two have hardly fought in the front, but the 2023 season gave us glimpses of that. However, the clean and hard racing between the two whenever there was an opportunity has only solidified their bond, not to mention the chaotic podium celebrations as well.

So when asked who he would like to see drive alongside him in the future at Red Bull, Verstappen only had one name. “[Norris and I] talk about it. But he’s contracted to McLaren for a long time. We’ll see what happens in the future.” The F1 best friends are definitely fantasizing about a future where they both race for the same team. After all, the Brit became the strongest contender for the second Red Bull seat after the British GP.

But we all know the teammate dynamic in the world of F1.
