British F1 giants McLaren revealed their new car for the 2022 season. The car was named MCL36, the successor of the much impressive MCL35 that we saw in the 2021 season. Although the team has kept the striking papaya orange as the primary color, there have been many changes to the livery of the new car.

The new car looks much more vibrant as compared to its predecessor. The livery is new, so is the color contrast. The new structure of the car has changed after F1 has revamped its design. Papaya Orange being their primary color, light blue was introduced as the secondary detailed color.

The McLaren MCL36 Structure

A new structure means a new style. The new design comes with 18-inch wheels, a considerable change from the 13-inch tires used previously. The team seemed to have loved its Gulf livery so much that it has decided to keep it. McLaren used the Gulf livery at the Monaco Grand Prix last year.

Starting with the suspension, the pull rod system came in. The last time it was seen was in 2013. However, with the emergence of the hybrid era in 2014, it was gone. The pull rod as mentioned earlier came down a little bit. The next change came in aerodynamics where the front nose isn’t connected with the body.
