DTS has been monumental according to McLaren CEO Zak Brown
DTS represented what goes on an F1 grid. The series includes various monologues, explanations, etc. from the team principals and drivers themselves. The series presents a detailed look into how a team copes with the pressure. The crashes, the transfers, the thrill, and almost every subject has been covered in detail. Though the series has received its fair share of criticism, the producers have done their job.
Talking about how the documentary has been monumental by providing deep insights, McLaren‘s Zak said, “So there’s a lot of games that go on um on the track and off the track, I think Netflix has done a great job of exposing what goes on before the race starts.”
The rivalries and the mind games have indeed been a focal point for the series. To win the constructors’ or drivers’ championship, an on-track battle is not all that takes place.

Talking about DTS’s impact on the sport, Brown further added, ” I think it’s been awesome for the sport. I think it really shown people what happens in our great sport. I think it at times it has created more tension with the teams but I think that’s a good thing. You know look at Abu Dhabi at the end of the year, that felt a little bit victim of everyone wanting to be on tv.”
“I think the race director couldn’t fully focus coz he had a couple of team bosses coming in to him. I think they wanted to be on TV a little bit too much.”
