Lando Norris is one of the most popular drivers in Formula One right now. We know the McLaren driver for his friendly, open, and heart-on-sleeve personality that resonates well with the young audiences. He has already built up a huge fan base for himself that even includes many famous personalities.

One of his famous friends is British pop star Hrvy. The young British singer took to social media to share his karting skills. There, he also challenged the McLaren driver by writing, ” Lando, I’m coming for you, buddy,”

To his challenge, Norris hilariously trolled him on his Instagram Story and replied,” Not with those ears on the helmet you aren’t,”

On the track, Lando is spearheading the challenge for McLaren in the pre-season testing in the absence of Daniel Ricciardo. The Aussie driver has been sick and has not taken to the track just yet. But it looks like Norris has been having a tough time at the official pre-season testing in Bahrain.

Lando Norris provides an update on McLaren’s woes in Testing

As reported by Formula1.com, the McLaren driver did some limited running on the first day of the pre-season testing. There was some issue with his MCL 36, which kept him in the garage for more than he would have liked.

 “I think we just had problems with the brakes today. Simple as that. The exact problem, I’m not too sure, but yes, with these temperatures, [they] didn’t allow us to do long runs, at least. Things we’re trying to fix for the next few days. It’s not going to be an easy fix, so we’ll see what we can do, but everyone’s working hard to come up with something,” said Norris.

The brake issues come as a little bit of a surprise as The Woking-based Team seemed bulletproof in Barcelona testing. Hence, with only a few test/practice sessions remaining before the first race of the season, Norris and McLaren would like to get as many laps as possible.
