Aston Martin’s Sebastian Vettel, one of the most successful drivers in the sport with 4 consecutive title wins, is bringing his F1 journey to an end. And as time is nearing, the people are getting emotional, including Vettel.

Many celebrated Vettel over the years and the man garnered a pretty strong following over his time in F1. Although many foresaw it, the news of Sebastian Vettel’s decision to retire still came as a shock.

A lot of videos of press conferences before the Singapore Grand Prix featured a pretty emotional Vettel that admitted to feeling a little sad about driving these tracks for the last time. An empathetic live audience showed immense support for their racing hero.

Even ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix, fans greeted Vettel, and they had much more to share than just words. Some put in effort and work to make him little farewell gifts. A fan brought Vettel a squeaky Duck ring in an Aston Martin outfit and he also put together a little gift – a mini car for his children.

To this, Vettel smiled and said, “Maybe I have more children?” As the man broke out in childlike laughter, Vettel, still smiling, said, “I’m not sure. I need to speak to my wife.”
