Often termed the villain of F1, Max Verstappen has had his fair share of drama in the paddock. From crashing into Lewis Hamilton in Monza last year to almost manhandling Esteban Ocon, Verstappen has acted a bit erratic at times. However, Max Beaumont, a communication skills coach reviews one of his interviews and shares his opinion about the Dutchman.

Max Verstappen will be elated with the season he’s had so far. He secured his record-equalling 13th GP win of the season in Austin. Moreover, he’s now just 1 shy of etching his name in the history books. He has 3 more races to break Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel’s record of most race wins in a season.

On a slightly different note, Max Beaumont reviews Max Verstappen’s communication skills in his latest video. Beaumont is a well-known communication skills coach who helps people with their conversations, interviews, etc. He reviews Verstappen’s interview post-Abu Dhabi GP when he clinched his maiden F1 championship.

Beaumont said“My first impression is he keeps it real, he just feels open you know. I always find as communicators, when we can let people into how we feel from an emotional standpoint,”

He also calls Max “a pragmatic realistic dude”. He said, I’m just getting a real genuine vibe from this guy when he says things. It doesn’t feel like he’s trying to come across as being humble, it sounds like he is being genuine and I can see a lot of people cheering for this guy”.

Furthermore, Beaumont says that Max has confidence in him, but he’s not delusional about the same. He believes that Max keeps his talking honest and on par with his abilities.

After watching Max Beaumont’s assessment of the Red Bull driver, fans were quick to share their opinion about the video. Most of the fans seemed to agree with Beaumont’s assessment of the world champion.

One user wrote, “Max is very straight forward and honest, sometimes people mistake that for being “arrogant” which I find odd. Max is incredibly humble.

One fan commented, He really is a ‘what you see is what you get’ kind of guy. I love his motivation and determination, he also lives a pretty private life outside of F1 which adds to his down to earth character I think (besides being rich
)”

Subsequently, there were also a few Dutch fans commenting and relating to the analysis. One fan wrote, As most Dutch, Max is very straight forward without the need to be afraid to step on someone’s toes. Sometimes this is mistaken for arrogance, but as a Dutchman myself, I think this makes communication much clearer. Sure Max knows where he talks about!”

Meanwhile, another user said, “The Dutch have the reputation of being down to earth and Max is the perfect example of that. He is always himself. Love the guy.”
