The topic of how long the Dutch lion intends to remain in the king’s class has always been raised considering that he is only 25 years old, and the same concerns the ex-f1 driver. Ralf Schumacher says that Verstappen is young and still has a number of years ahead of him, whereas Hamilton has reached a point where he must put in more effort to win the championship.
Schumacher commented, referring to the difference between the age of the two champion drivers. Talking to Motorsports Dutch Version he said, “Given his age, he can keep this up for a long time. Lewis has to do more and also work harder to get close to his limit. But with Max, I rather ask myself a completely different question: how long does he still feel like Formula 1?”
Verstappen has previously stated unequivocally that he does not want to compete till he turns forty, thus the question worries many F1 analysts and fans.
Max Verstappen is certain of not racing in his 40s
Double champion Max Verstappen can join the exclusive club of the ‘100 race’, which only Lewis Hamilton has achieved. The Red Bull ace, who has already won 35 races and still has plenty of time left in his racing career, can join this club, but only if his luck turns out to be in his favor.

Many predictions have been made regarding the Dutchman’s future, but when asked about it to him, he was very clear that he wouldn’t race once he turned 40. Speaking with the Dutch newspaper De Limburger, the Dutch lion said, “I have often indicated that this is too much and the main reason that I will not continue to do this until I turn 40. Traveling a lot and stuff, that’s just not healthy.”
Revealing the reason in deep, Verstappen said, “I still really like it now, but you have to give up a lot for it. That sounds crazy because driving Formula 1 is, of course, a dream for many people, but it really is. You are very far away from home and from the people you love. There comes a time when you are done with that.”
