The Dutch GP also saw Max Verstappen, Pérez’s teammate, play the game tactically. However, by controlling Lando Norris’ pace and slowing him down, Verstappen left room for Red Bull to potentially control Norris’ progress in the Italian Grand Prix. This move emphasizes Verstappen’s understanding of the sport and shows how differently both RBR teammates think.

While Red Bull Racing is preparing for Monza, they are equipped with a better understanding of their car deficiencies as well as the ability of Verstappen to disrupt competitors.
